But then things took a turn for the worse on Monday when Abby fell from the climber at school and broke her right arm. Almost 8 hours in the emergency room later, she was all casted up and ready to head home. She's been a real trooper- her pain tolerance is pretty amazing, and she's been in good spirits. She even brought photocopies of her x-rays for Show & Tell at preschool yesterday - all her little friends were very impressed. :)
We get the "pretty" cast on Monday, once her swelling goes down. Abby has already decided that the cast must be purple. Daddy is pleased that she will be sporting Husky colors for 6 weeks.

Those bones look not only cracked, but also bent! I'm glad you get to have a special purple cast to protect them. Congratulations on a preschool career enjoyed with gusto. Get ready, kindergarten!
