Sisterly love

Kate has reached a new stage where she finds her big sister wildly entertaining. Mommy and Daddy figure there's a good chance this stage will last for the rest of her life.

Leave it to Daddy to discover that the baby calms down when sitting on his head looking out the window. :) Just holding her while looking out the window doesn't work. Something about sitting on the head does the trick!

Kate is starting to coo, smile more and we even got a laugh out of her the other day. This is the fun stuff.

I had my final ballet class last weekend and they finally let Mommy and Daddy watch and take pictures. I really like it when we get to JUMP!

I love the swing

The swing is one of Kate's favorite places to be. Last night she slept in it, but that's a different story.

Sick Day

I wasn't feeling well today. Favorite stuffed dog to chew on - check. Comfy couch for snuggling - check. Cozy hot pink robe - check.  Nina would be proud.

Family Fun

We survived our first trip together - we were both very well behaved! We played hard with Brooklynn while the babies entertained everyone inside. Eme and Kate got along great, when they noticed each other.  They both went through several wardrobe changes during the day - finding it hard to keep the explosions contained. Kate got plenty of snuggle time with Nina, Uncle Justin, Great-Grandma - "the baby whisperer" - and Gayna. We are resting up today - what a fun, busy weekend!

Flower girl!

Couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous day - there was even a swing set on-site to entertain the kids. Kate got dressed up for the occasion, but thankfully slept through most of it.

Abby - a party planner in the making, with a little help from Nina and the flowers she received for her retirement.  Anyone for cake, cookies or ice cream?

Animals everywhere!

Nina was here last weekend and we went to the zoo - a little soggy but very fun.  Here I am on the carousel - WEEEE!

We also seem to have a bit of a zoo in our backyard.  Baby bunny, Mama bunny (not pictured) and a very large frog.  It is wild kingdom around here!
