We flipped Kate's seat around in the car yesterday. I'm not sure if she was more excited to be facing forward, or to be going to the zoo!

Abby and her side-kick Emma were superstars at gathering firewood up at the cabin. Perfect for a drizzly day. Would take a lot more than rain to slow these girls down! Thanks Janie and Connie for having us up for a special time with yummy food and wonderful company!

We did manage to get one day of sunshine in Central Washington. The perfect day for some quality time in Nina's beautiful backyard.

Happy 4th of July!

The girls got decked out in sparkles, beads and red, white & blue for the parade, and then snuggled in, and tried to stay awake, for a fantatic fireworks show.

The Beach!

We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather for our trip to the beach. Abby enjoyed running in the waves, even with all our cautioning about keeping her cast dry. Kate was very interested, but the water was a bit too cold for her liking. Wasn't so sure about that stuff on her hands or feet either!
