Smile Hunt

Kate is starting to really smile now, but you have to be very quick with the camera to catch it!

Mommy, will you get that camera out of my face please?

Daddy also caught a good one. She may not have much hair in the front, but the stuff in the back is making up for it. :)

All this smiling really wears a girl out.

A calm and peaceful moment

These moments are a little rare, but starting to happen more often now.  I'm still a big fan of eating and sleeping, and if neither of those things are happening, as big sister Abby says "Kate's just a little fussy." But that's OK - everyone still thinks you are pretty great Katie-Kate! (that's Abby's name for her)

Hangin' out

Mommy and I were hanging out on the couch while big sister was taking a nap.  I'm starting to develop my own little personality. Most the time I just go with the flow...

Other times it looks like I might crack a smile (or maybe that's just gas)...

And when I'm hungry - watch out!

Ballerina

Abby had her first ballet lesson today.  I hate to say it, but her favorite part was the outfit...hoping the next class goes better than the first. I think maybe her expectations were just a little too high! 

Little Miss Pudge

Just look at those cheeks!  It turns out that Miss Kate really likes to eat, and we are so glad.

This picture was taken right after Abby gave Kate a bottle for the first time.  Such a proud big sister. Again everyone is in their jammies...seems to be the norm around here lately!

Mommy was admiring Kate's pudgy belly in the bath too.  Kate wasn't too sure about that.

Just love those cute baby cheeks and double-chin.

Pony pouting

You would think that I'd be excited to ride some ponies at my friend's birthday party, but I decided to throw a bit of a fit.  Mommy finally convinced me to ride, but I was determined not to crack a smile.

Then we had some snacks and cake, and life was looking a little better

By the end of the party I had given up the pouting - ponies are fun after all!

PJ Girls

It is a lazy Saturday morning and everyone is still in PJs.  Kate is kind of drowning in hers, but she'll grow into them soon!
