More dress-up

The girls were playing dress-up this morning. I had to be careful with the photos - Abby's outfit was downright indecent! Getting a glimpse of the teenage battles ahead.

100-year-old Abbers

For the 100th day of school the kids got to dress up as 100-year-olds. I have to say, Abby makes a convincing elder! They do such fun stuff in Kindergarten.

Off to the theater

We went to see a children's theater production of "A Frog Prince" awhile back. It was a good excuse to get fancy. The sun was out as well, so we topped off our ensembles with some cool shades.

Everyone looks very happy on the drive to the show. I wish it had lasted! Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Just like Daddy

Kate may look like Mommy, but she's all Daddy when it comes to her silly antics. This morning she thought she'd try drinking her cereal. With some licking of the bowl thrown in. Don't know where she might have learned that - hmmm, Daddy? 


Locker room chat

Abby, in the locker room post-swim lessons yesterday (loudly)..."How does a mommy get what she wants, if she wants a baby in her tummy? When are YOU going to have another baby in your tummy?" I told her we'd talk about it in the car. We quickly scurried out, amidst the snickers from other locker room inhabitants.

"I did it!"

Not even two and Kate just did the deed in the pot. As one of her former teachers said of her toileting habits - that girl's got skills! So proud... :)

Queen of the Jump Rope

Abby's latest passion...jump roping. They did "Jump Rope for Heart" at school for the American Heart Association and had a special class with a local jump rope team. She was hooked. Practicing morning, noon and night since then. When she sets her mind to something, there's no stoppin' Abbers!
