Pretty bows

Kate was tolerating this little game of dress up and drag your sister quite well! Of course, she did get to be mostly in the buff, which is always a hit.

Biker Chick

Abby is starting to get the hang of the big girl bike we got for her last year. Training wheels still definitely required, but she fits it much better now. Just need to work on the squeals of fear when she forgets how to brake...every 2 minutes...seriously.

Chef Daddy

Abby decided that Chris needed to dress up like a chef - Daddy is such a good sport. The "Abby" apron from the Juchems was a little snug, but it completed the ensemble!

Kate's new tricks

Baby girl isn't so much of a baby anymore! She's discovering all sorts of fun new things.

She can play "mommy" for hours with her babydolls. Rocks them, wraps them in blankets, sings and pats them to sleep, gives the baby a bottle. We are still working on being gentle with baby, she does like to drag them around by the neck or arm. :)

Let the fun begin - climbing on everything. She loves to sit in the little rocking chair that used to belong to Auntie Jill, but needs to be reminded to sit on her bottom.

Abby's dress-up shoes are tasty, but mostly she walks around babbling into the shoe like a phone.

Mommy couldn't resist a shot of the damp, post-nap curls on her neck. Kate is catching up to big sister in the crazy, thick hair department!

Chicago!

I needed to go to the Windy City for work, so Chris and I
made a weekend out of it. Thanks to the grandparents for
watching the girls. We had a great time!

Egg Hunt

Just a couple shots of Kate on her first egg hunt. We had a very quiet Easter, since Abby was sick with the flu. True to form, she did rally for Easter baskets and the egg hunt in the living room.
