Hat-a-palooza

Kate is 10 months old today! We celebrated with a trip to the doctor - she's quite the rock star at getting ear infections. Big sister thought she'd join in the fun with her own version of the same. But it takes more than a sore ear to keep this baby down...she really likes Daddy's hat. Now that is easy entertainment.

Crazy for cupcakes!

Auntie Jill gave Abby a set of fairy cupcake toppers for her birthday. What a great excuse to make, and eat, cupcakes! Yummmm...



The Giggly Waddler

Learning how to walk/waddle is SO exciting! And even more fun with big sister's help. This video captures some of the giggling, but before the camera came out she was nearly hysterical with laughter. Not quite sure what was so funny, but what a great way to end the evening.

Birthday Weekend

Last weekend was Abby's big birthday extravaganza.

 First, a birthday circle at school.

Then birthday dinner with Madeleine at Red Robin.

Kate was VERY interested in Abby's presents, and all the action in the restaurant...made it a little challenging for Nina to get the food in her mouth.

 And finally, a birthday party at the gymnastics center. Abby requested a snowman theme - she wasn't quite ready to let go of the holidays.

Garden of Lights

It was cold, but it was clear and beautiful. And only a bit crowded. Kate seemed to enjoy the warm and cozy ride, and Abby was totally enthralled with the gorgeous light display.
